5:25 PM Update:
We've seen a mix of clouds and sunshine through the day today. Southeasterly winds will increase over the weekend, bringing low level Gulf moisture back into the area leading to periods of low cloudiness, especially on Sunday. However we still don't expect any rain through at least Monday. However by Tuesday, an approaching cold front will combine with that low level, Gulf moisture to lead to trigger a few showers. Remnant moisture from Hurricane Norbert (now about 300 miles to the south -southwest of La Paz, Mexico on the Baja Peninsula may also combine with the front to aid the shower activity (however most of the heavy rain from this system should occur out in West Texas). Cooler air will move in behind the front late Tuesday and Wednesday and enough moisture may linger for off and showers to continue through Wednesday and possibly into Friday.
